Whatever获评最令人反感词汇

AccordingtoTheMaristPoll,“whatever”remainsthemostannoyingwordorphraseinconversationtoday.39%ofAmericansdespisetheoftentossedaboutterm.Theuber?鄄filler“like”isdeemedthemostirritatingby28%.“YouknowwhatImean”isconsideredthebiggestverbalgaffeby15%ofthepopulation.“Totellyouthetruth”gratesthemoston10%while“actually”receivesthedubiousdistinctionfrom5%.Threepercentareunsure.

根据美国马利斯特民意调查,“whatever”继续稳坐“最令人讨厌的日常会话用语”的冠军宝座,有39%的美国人都厌恶这个经常被漫不经心抛出口的词。另外,有28%的人认为完全多余的“like”(就像是)最令人恼火,有15%的人觉得“YouknowwhatImean”(你懂的)是最失态的话,而“Totellyouthetruth”(跟你说实话)和“actually”(事实上)分别以10%和5%紧随其后。最后还有3%的人不确定自己最讨厌的日常用语是什么。

InOctober2009,“whatever”wascrownedkingwith47%.Otherannoyingwordsandphrasesincludedinthatsurveywere:“youknow”(25%),“itiswhatitis”(11%),“anyway”(7%),and“attheendoftheday”(2%).Eightpercentwereunsure.

2009年10月,“whatever”曾以47%的高得票率摘得“最令人讨厌日常用语”的桂冠,当时上榜的词还有:“youknow”(你知道)(25%),“itiswhatitis”(这就是事实)(11%),“anyway”(总之,反正)(7%)以及“attheendoftheday”(到头来)(2%)。有8%的人选择不确定。

不过对于这个问题,18到29岁的年轻人有不同的看法。年轻人中有44%不介意让“like”一词从日常会话中彻底消失,而年长一辈对此却不认同。30到44岁的人中有37%认为“whatever”最令他们厌烦,而45到59岁的人中有46%,六十岁以上则有40%。
