<正>Infectious bursal disease （IBD） is a highly contagious immuno-suppressive disease affecting all major poultry producing areas of the world. Since 1990s, IBD has caused significant losses to the commercial poultry industry in China. To protect the chickens well, a series of studies on the prevention and control of IBD have been performed in Harbin Veterinary Research Institute （HVRI）.
