<正>Characteristics of sediments in an ocean basin are important for revealing its tectonic evolution and regional sedimentary processes. On the other hand, the thickness and the seismic velocity of marine sediments are equally important to image the oceanic crustal and mantle structure seismically because the anomalies accrued within the sedimentary layer, if unknown, could be misinterpreted as deeper structure features in
