Shape-Shifting Airplane Wing for More Energy Efficiency

<正>A team of engineers from NASA and MIT has built and tested a new airplane wing that is assembled from hundreds of tiny identical molded octahedral unit cells and passively changes its shape to respond to changing aerodynamic loads. This shape-shifting airplane wing can improve significantly aircraft performance,especially during the high angle of attack maneuvers as takeoffs and landings.
